Terraces and outdoor paving
Pressure washing of paving, terraces, patios and steps. Takes off moss, green algae and the dirt rain alone no longer shifts.
Madeira’s climate is excellent for plants — including the ones growing on your terrace uninvited. Moss and green algae take hold fast in shaded, damp spots, and beyond the look of it they make the ground slippery.
Pressure washing solves it, but it has to be used with judgement: too much pressure lifts the sand from between the paving and scars the stone. We match the setting to the material.

Questions about this service
Does pressure washing damage paving?
It does if it is used badly. We match the pressure and the nozzle to the stone in question and, where needed, top the sand back up between the joints at the end.
How long does it stay clean?
In a damp, shaded spot the green starts coming back within 6 to 12 months. With an anti-moss treatment applied at the end it lasts considerably longer.
